For this post, one paragraph might be devoted to the description of the place and the other could focus on the environmental science aspect related to your place. Really think through your post before you actually post it to make sure it sounds and reads like some intelligent posted it.

ReplyDeleteThe place that I would like to visit is Tahiti. I would like to visit tahiti because it is very remote, and has some of the best beaches and clearest water in the world.Tahiti would be a great place to take a vacation and just go to relax.
The island was formed from volcanic activity and is very mountainous surrounded by coral reefs. The populations is 183,645 inhabitants. November is the wet season in Tahiti. The average temperature ranges between 70 and 80 degrees.
There is only one major environmental problem around Tahiti and that is nuclear testing. Since French President Francois Mitterand decided to go through with nuclear testing five years ago they have yet to put the environmental issue with nuclear testing on the table.

Maui is very nice. The climate is mostly hot year round but for the most part it is a comfortable climate to be in.

New York is the most populous city in the United States . In New York I want to go visit The Statue of Liberty . They have a water Taxi , where at night it takes you to see The Statue of Liberty up close. That way you can take pictures, etc.....

The biggest environmental crisis in Bermuda is the loss of land available for agriculture.Bermuda is a subtropical island in the Atlantic Ocean. The coordinates to Bermuda are 32°18′N 64°47′W. The president is crazy, so that'd be funny for a bit at least. I hear it's cold, and that's good because it's always so hot in Alabama. Plus, Russian accents are cool, I can do a great one. DeleteThe place that i would love to visit is around the Cree lake area in Canada. It is located in Saskatchewan Canada and is the fourth largest lake in the province. It is a in the wilderness quit far . With that beiong said, is quite secluded and has no highway acess. The only way to get there is to travel by plane to the small air port or by float plane.
ReplyDeleteCree lake is home to a fishing lodge called Crystal lodge and a hunting lodge. It is a fly in fishing lodge. The Cree lake area is home to a vast variety wildife. Fish species include: walleye, yellow perch, northen pike, lake trout, lake whitefish, cisco, burbot, arctic grayling, white sucker, and longose sucker. The Cree lake are also has an abundance of animals such as; Whitetail Deer, Black bear, and varius waterfowl. Cree Lake is a great place for hunting as there is a fly in hunting camp.
The coordiantes for cree lake are: atitude: 57-21N, longitude: 107-08W, elevation: 495 m. During the winter Cree Lake are becomes quite cold with a low of about -30 celcius which is 22 degrees Fahrenheit. This of course freezes the lake which gives an opprtunity to ice fish. The high for the Cree lake are is 20 celcius or 68 degrees Fahrenheit. The high pericpitation is 90 mm while the low is around 10mm. The average sunshine hours each year is 9 hours a day.

DeleteWell not much considering the land is intended to be used for hunting and fishing and is basically wilderness but there are lodges and places like that were you could have luxuries like internet or TV I'm sure.

The place where would like to go is Montana. Also known as the big sky country Montana is home to the most beautiful sky's in America it is claimed to be where you can see forever. The weather for Montana in the summer runs from mid 70's to mid 90's but with no humidity it's like it 75 all summer long. But when winter rolls around it is a different story the winters are hard and long from a high to 30 to a low of -20. Montana is also home to Americas most dangerous predator the Grizzly weighing sometimes of to a thousand pounds the Grizzly is responsible for many missing live stock and many injury's.

By the 12th century Paris had become a walled cathedral city that was one of Europe's foremost centuries of learning and the arts and largest city in the Western world but it all changed in the 18th century. The city has one of the largest GDPs in the world century. Paris had 2,234,105 inhabitants in 2009. DeleteThe place i would like to visit is Jamaica because it is an island and is very beautiful and there is many different things you can do, and it is a paradise in my eyes. It is located in the Atlantic Ocean south of Cuba and west of Haiti. Jamaica's climate is tropical with constant warm to hot temperatures all year round, though cooler in the higher, central areas. It is hot year round and it's wettest months are between May and November and the wildlife is very abundant is Jamaica, there are 25 species of frogs and toads, there is a total of 31 species of reptiles (turtles, snakes, lizards, crocodiles, and many others), there is 324 species of birds and 28 of them are endemic, which means they only live in Jamaica, and there is 35 species of mammals and 11 of them are marine mammals. Some environmental crisis in Jamaica has 9.4 cu km of renewable water resources with 77% used for agriculture and 7% used for industrial purposes. Also, coastal waters have been polluted by sewage, oil spills, and industrial waste. Another environmental problem for Jamaica is land erosion and deforestation, forest and woodland decreased by 7% annually between 1990 and 1995, Jamaica's coral reef has also been damaged. The Jamaican cities produce over 0.3 million tons of solid waste per year.

DeleteI want to visit Cuba. It is has a very hot climate. There are beautiful vistas to be seen. There are many beaches and forests that can be explored. Cuba is a huge location for art. Paintings can be seen in the streets of Havana while dancers do the salsa outside of restaurants and musicians blast their instruments in clubs. Behind the beautiful scene of Cuba, however, there are a few environmental problems. Land degradation is a huge problem in Cuba. Land degradation is caused by multiple forces, including extreme weather conditions particularly drought, and human activities that pollute or degrade the quality of soils and land utility negatively affecting food production, livelihoods, and the production and provision of other ecosystem goods and services. These social and environmental processes are stressing Cuba's arable lands and pastures essential for the provision of food and water and quality air. Land degradation and desertification can affect human health through complex pathways. As land is degraded and in some places deserts expand, food production is reduced, water sources dry up and populations are pressured to move to more hospitable areas. The potential impacts of desertification on health include: higher threats of malnutrition from reduced food and water supplies, more water- and food-borne diseases that result from poor hygiene and a lack of clean water, respiratory diseases caused by atmospheric dust from wind erosion and other air pollutants, and the spread of infectious diseases as populations migrate.
